How Ask A Card works
The current card draw is deliberately small and transparent. It runs in your browser and pairs a randomly selected card with a short reflective prompt.
Card selection
The tool uses a standard 78-card tarot deck: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. A browser-generated random number selects the card and whether it appears upright or reversed. There is no claim that the draw is physically equivalent to shuffling a deck.
Interpretation
Each card has a compact theme and an open question. Minor Arcana prompts combine the suit’s domain with the rank’s pattern. The result is not personalized advice, a prediction, or a statement about someone else’s feelings.
Privacy in the first release
Your optional question stays in the page’s local state. It is not sent to our server, stored in an account, or included in analytics by this prototype. This will be updated before any feature that saves readings is introduced.
